What is high-bay LED lighting?
High-bay LED lighting uses high-output luminaires for areas with a ceiling height above roughly 6 metres. The beam angle is chosen according to ceiling height so light reaches the floor: narrow-beam optics for very high ceilings, wide-beam for medium heights.
Switching from old metal-halide fixtures to LED
Metal-halide fixtures once used in high-ceiling areas switch on slowly, radiate heat and lose light over time. High-bay LED lighting delivers full light instantly, lowers energy consumption, and removes the need to set up a crane or scaffold for lamp changes for years.
Crane runways and rack systems
In halls with overhead cranes, luminaires should sit above or beside the crane runway; in racked warehouses, they should align with the aisles. We calculate the layout from the hall drawing and keep the luminaire count to what's actually needed.
Price advantage
In high-bay LED lighting projects, both the power per luminaire and the count are high; the unit price directly sets the total budget. As the manufacturer, Asso quotes at the factory-direct price, with the unit price stepping down as quantity rises.
