The purpose of façade lighting
Façade lighting makes a building recognisable at night and adds value to the city skyline. Done well, it highlights the building's texture and lines without spilling light into the sky or onto neighbouring buildings.
Architectural lighting techniques
Wall-washing, grazing, accenting and contour lighting are the most common techniques. FOKUS LED floodlights are used on large surfaces, and narrower-beam luminaires for detail accents.
Energy and scene management
With DALI or 1-10V control, façade lighting can be programmed for holidays, ceremonies and ordinary nights, and the light level can be lowered automatically after midnight.
Built for your project
On architectural projects, luminaire colour, mounting details and colour temperature are chosen to suit the building. Because we manufacture in-house, we can make these adaptations with no middleman cost.
